The purpose of data management:
The data controller sends only invitation, newsletter and notification related to its own exhibitions and programs, does not pass on the data to third parties.
Duration of data management:
Data management starts by subscription to the newsletter on the museum’s website and the voluntary provision of personal data directly by the data subject. Personal information is managed until the subscription is alive, in case of unsubscription, all data will be deleted automatically.
Method of data management:
Newsletters are sent via „Mailchimp”, which is an international newsletter system, using servers located abroad, therefore it is necessary to use the service with the direct consent of the subscriber to send in his/her personal data to foreign data transmitting. The Mailchimp system is operated by The Rocket Science Group, LLC (675 Ponce de Leon Avenue, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA). The foreign operator provide data management in accordance with the regulation of the European Union by complying to the “EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework” data exchange agreement. The museum has a valid contract with its domestic internet service provider in order to send invitation and digitized form of the Museum Program from the address muzeumimusor@hermuz.hu. Other used electronic addresses: info@miskolcigaleria.eu.
The person involved is entitled to:
– request the access, the deletion or the modification of his/her personal data from the controller, or may object to the processing of personal data;
– request his\her personal information in a widely used format, and has the right to transfer the mentioned personal information to another administrator without being hindered by the person to whom he has made his personal data available;
– withdraw its consent to data processing at any time, which does not affect the legality of processing carried out on the basis of the consent prior to the withdrawal. By withdrawing your consent and deleting your personal data, the administrator terminates the newsletter service.
– go to court in case of violation of rights, or request redress, or make complaint to the National Data Protection’s and Freedom of Information Authority’s help as well.
